I had an accident which wasn't my fault on the 04/11/2019 where a lorry collided with my father's mitsubishi evo 8, I drove the car home with no faults or structural damage, these guys took my car told me it's being scrapped, I got the car back had it fixed by a well known body repair garage, who confirmed the car wasn't a right off the insurance we're trying to rip my 70yr old father off, the car got fixed and sold today but my dad lost a lot of money because it was classed as a category s!! Don't use this company they have bad reviews for a reason

I have a multi vehicle policy with this company - I sold a vehicle and bought another so called them to change the details of the vehicles covered. I called them 4 times and on each occasion was told someone would call me back with a quote as it needed to go to the underwriters.. Needless to say my calls were never returned. After 11 days of trying to resolve things I actually managed to speak to someone competent who informed me that my change of vehicle would cost me more than double the price of insuring elsewhere. I will not be renewing with them - their customer service is abysmal.
Appalling customer service... I have attempted to make contact on a number of occasions since the 22nd August.... Phone calls, emails, requested call backs and still nothing other than frustration as the phone line cuts off after being on hold! Charged cancellation fees on a second policy that was automatically renewed without any written confirmation. If you have the spare time to chase and you are prepared to spend as much on the fees as the policy itself then great, otherwise Avoid this broker!!
Called on 1/7/2020 regarding a quote for car insurance. Forwarded to a helpful guy namned Charley. Again, he was incredible helpful with my inquiries and clear on explaining things. Very friendly, and got me a great price. Charley is an asset to Lancaster Insurance. Many Thanks Ash
Lancaster Insurance charged me more than double for a year after I needed a quick change of vehicle update to my policy. I had called them as I was buying the car. Tried it on again a year later with a renewal of more than double other companies so I cancelled immediately. Not trustworthy but I expect the renewals advisor was rubbing her hands on the commission. Advise strongly to look at other quotes before signing with Lancaster.
