Lan Fang is good but not rated at 3 stars or higher. They serve good noodles, good spicy combination in local tastes which quite stand out among local spicy restaurants. I can only rate it 3 stars for its unique tastes and enjoyable service. But Lan Fang does have good snacks, going with beer .

I ate here once two years ago when I was in taiwan for student exchange. I can't forget the taste. It was featured in the drama "1006 号房客" and the hype was real. Queued for more than an hr when the show was still airing. Locals shared that it was already a popular eatery even before the drama came about. Affordable and good quality. The sides r very good too. Can't wait to fly to taiwan to eat here again.
Great spicy noodles. Complex flavors and well made noodles
A crowded place that is clean and organized. I ordered spicy noodles but the order was missed and so I sat for ½hour waiting for my noodles. Texture of noodles was really good. The sauce was ok I guess. But you need to let the noodles sit for a while to soak the flavor in. So my first 2 mouthful was only so so. Maybe also because my side dishes that was so flavorful. Maybe I will go back again because of the noodles... I dont know
蘭芳小麵 is delicious. It takes more than 30 minutes to serve the food after ordering. When I went around 14:00 after lunch, it took more than 30 minutes to serve meals even when I was alone in this restaurant at that time. There are many chefs in the kitchen, but their skill is not good, so it takes a lot of time to serve noodles at most. I give 4 points for the taste, but only 0 points for the service because the meal serving time is desperately late. Considering these, the evaluation of the store itself is limited to 2 points. For those who work in a workplace with a short lunch break, they are worried about the start time of work in the afternoon and cannot enjoy meals. It is better not to go unless you are a leisure person who has time to spare.
This place is quite small. Expect a line during dinner time. Overall pretty decent food. The noodles can be pretty spicy but in a good way. If you add their Line account as your friend you get a free egg. They have the spicy sauce/oil on sale which is perfect if you’re really into it. Tiny place, just your normal eatery on the street, but sure has a lot of people. Had only take-outs since people were already lining up before 6. Bought couple of braised dishes such as chicken feet, duck feet, tofu, intestines, etc. Would like to try their noodles next time.
Very good local food. Spicy noodles and wonton an special tofu in soup...must try...there is queue so when you can get a sit do not hesitate
