We found this wonderful restaurant \by accident\ and went there to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was wonderful, we had the menu Gerbure, the starter was delicious. Roquefort with chicory,a very good portion with amazing flavours, and the main matched and went beyond, based on a peasant dish familiar to St Bernadette, LaGerbure, was wonderful and filling. Our sweet was a delicious selection of home made treats. The wine was reasonably priced and the coffee great., we would recommend you try Floc, you will be looking for a bottle to take home! Frederic was an exceptional host with a string of languages to his credit, the design and layout of the restaurant was very different to all of the others in Lourdes which made the whole experience special and added to the ambiance and atmosphere. Sadly we were unable to return again during our stay but will definitely be going back next year. We recommended L'Ami Toulousain to an English friend who then booked a table and his experience matched ours, we would recommend any visitor to Lourdes to find and eat at L'Ami Toulousain, authentic French food delicious! It's the BEST of all...their menu & their service. Their traditional Garbure is a MUST TRY. Mr Frédéric is very entertaining and hospitable. Make sure to make a stop and try here when in Lourdes.
Ici un menu unique qui nous fait découvrir un plat traditionnel de la région, la garbure. Une entrée, un plat, un café gourmand; le tout pour 12.9. En plus un bon vin local particulièrement bon et à un prix plus que correct. C'est d'une délicieuse simplicité et authenticité à ne pas manquer lors d'un passage à Lourdes. Le propriétaire est affable et donne envie de repasser manger ici.
C'est un endroit hors du temps, où l'on se pose avec délice et où l'on partage avec convivialité un repas traditionnel et riche en portions sans que l'addition ne vous fasse regretter votre gourmandise Accueil chaleureux et pleins d'échanges à la mode Toulousaine Bref !
