While writing this I had to ask myself, am I being too emotional to be fair and objective as I am very disappointed with pretty much everything tonight. To start with, at a time that eating out is more and more of a privilege and occasion you should be much more welcoming and hospitable to your customers. This was not the case here sadly. When ordering our food our waitress was average at best as after taking our order we were made to pay upfront without being warned in advance and then when our food. This isn't problem but if you are going to do this you need to make sure everything is perfect and it really wasn't. When our food came it turned out our starter had been missed off the order but least our drinks came out fairly quick and we were served by a different waitress who was clueless as to why we were asking for the starter. My grilled gammon dish was missing the onion rings that were meant to come with every dish from the grill menu, the girl went back to the kitchen and produced two onion rings for me. The gammon had no taste of this maple flavoured mustard and apple glaze it was advertised as having and was also burnt so sadly it really didn't taste good. No one asked us how our meal was, probably was obvious at this point and only a very weak apology for the missing items was given. For the sake of not causing a scene and upsetting my wife I decided to leave it but I will not be recommending the food, service or be coming back here. The venue was nice at least.

A really busy city pub in the summer, benefits from a substantial suntrap courtyard garden with tables. A fairly fried-based menu does alright and small selection of real ales available.

The pub itself is beautiful and the staff lovley. The food however, was a massive let down. I've had better burgers in a Spoons for half the price. But I can't fault the drinks or the staff (who were very kind and attentive) at the end of the day those are the two most important things and the Lamb does them well.

Ordered myself a pint and my partner a gin and lemonade. Went back up to the bar as they forgot to put any gin in. Was then told 'lemonade is quite overpowering, so that's probably why you can't taste the gin'. Then ordered two pints of Peroni and got two bottles of Corona. I was then told I had definitely ordered Corona's. Don't waste your time at this place.

Awful meal, we were sat next door to toilets, I hate that, chicken was rubbery, peas were worst I've ever not eaten by a, bullets. My school dinners were better. Uncooked bacon uck. Burnt tiny tomato. Frozen cheap fries. For the price of 11.79 Toilets tired and scruffy. Do not ever go here
