Good customer service with friendly staff. A little wait for food but when it came it was hot and delicious. Went for Sunday lunch. Choice of meats, good selection of veg and a huge Yorkshire pudding. Sticky toffee pudding was a massive hit with one of my party. Would definitely visit again.

The landlady was very informative on the pub and area history. The food was great and the burger was dry aged tasty. I just wish there was an option to add a second patty. Shipwreckers! I will try the hoof in Cardiff soon! I'll tell them you sent us!
Very nice the best chinese curry and chips in Wales. 10 out of 10.
Best meal out I've had in a looooong time. Burger was perfect, the chips were the best I've ever had, and the desserts (lemon meringue and poached pear with honeycomb and chocolate mousse) were spectacular.
Been past many times, called in today. What a find! Fish and chips get a place in my top five (in no particular order!) My wife was well impressed with her curry, didn't have to ask for half n half. She also remarked on nice wine in a really decent glass. The girl? Lady? behind the bar was super. Will go back. Maybe tomorrow lol.
