Came here August of 2019. Very nice and cozy pub. Great drink options. We almost had the place to ourselves. There was one other customer at the bar at 3pm on a Monday afternoon. This place has a nice ambiance to it. Clean toilets.

One of the best pubs in Leeds City Centre. Excellent food, great selection of drinks including local favourites. Really well set up for Covid precautions, with no-touch hand gel dispensers and plenty of heated outdoor seating.
We went here earlier this week and while some of the food was good, the vegan options which while looking nice, were really lacking in flavour - in particular the vegan fish and chips which really needed some seasoning/flavouring on the banana blossom, and was also very greasy. The vegan scallops and black pudding (pictured) was also really lacking in flavour. The service was also pretty slow at times however their social distancing measures did seem to be sensible.
One of my favourite pubs in Leeds, indoor and outdoor seating, great range of superb beers from the Leeds brewery and great food. Highly recommended.
Lovely outdoor area but service was very slow considering it was half empty. Very knowledgeable staff though, they knew their products.
