We will definitely be going back to Laluka Safari Lodge. The pluses: - Place looks like a beautiful modern African fairytale. It's simply beautiful - The owners are very welcoming and make you feel at home. - The staff is very friendly and attentive - They have an amazing policy that saves food from wastage (you order beforehand so they know exactly the quantities to cook). The food portions are just right. They also organically grow most of their vegetables. -The place is very intimate, taking only 12 guests at a time. - The plunge pools are amazing and the views from every angle are really beautiful - the spa was nice - there are lots of animals and not a lot of game drive cars so you get a real bush experience. One negative:- We had an elephant incident where we ran into a herd of elephants and o for a few seconds, our guide panicked with us, which made us even more scared. To his credit, he did manage to quickly regroup and handle the situation well. Overall, great place and amazing experience.

This is our second time back. We absolutely love it here. Simon, Guilia and team offer a very personalized experience This is luxurious and intimate. We love the private heated plunge pool and tastefully decorated chalet. Our only negative experience was due to other guests not adhering to the allocated smoking area even after numerous requests from staff
I had the opportunity to stay at Laluka Lodge for 1 night. What a great experience: from the moment you are picked up at the Reserve gate, you feel welcome and immediately relaxed! The owners-managers, Didier, Simon and Giulia, have spared no efforts to make this place as unique and awesome as possible. It is in the small details that you feel the family's touch and benefit from their extended experience in hospitality. You can sense this lodge is a work of passion for them. A big highlight for me is their sustainable approach in running the lodge, by integrating a 'farm to plate' concept, banning plastic and also using mainly local suppliers. Staying at Laluka will revitalise you and wanting to go back soon!
I am happy to say I was Lalukas first guest. The owners, Simon and Giulia treated me as if I were family. The staff were all well trained and extremely friendly. They catered to all my requests, as I only eat Halal, they went out of their way to ensure that my requests were met. The food they served was of an A grade quality and everything they use in the kitchen is freshly produced. The rooms are beautiful, each fitted with its own private pool. Laluka is a home away from the bush, it gives you a chance to disconnect from the world and find yourself in nature. I had a splendid stay and because of the hospitality I would definitely go back there and recommend everyone to see it for themselves
What an incredible experience we had at Laluka!!! From the extremely friendly voice that took my call, Giulia, to being met at the gate by the knowledgeable Koenrad. The welcome is even warmer when Chef Lerato and our host, Thomas* shared the lovely environment with us!! A week has gone by, and we are still talking about the amazing experience! Many, many thanks to the ENTIRE team for making our visit so much more special!! Merry Christmas team :)
