Lalbagh Indian Restaurant, East Sheen

It’s not really an authentic Indian Restaurant, Most of the dishes you order won’t be genuine. The restaurant is from a Bangladeshi region where cooking is different to mainland Indian cuisine, the use of mustard oil is predominantly used in most of the dishes in Bengali (Eastern part of the Indian subcontinent). There is no such thing as chicken Madras it is a concoction. If you need to order authentic Indian dishes try restaurants in Hounslow area and do your research . There are plenty of real authentic Indian restaurants in London since 2000. Nothing personal against a Bangladeshi restaurant and this is a genuine feedback,

Excellent food as always. I've been ordering from this restaurant for years! Never disappoints. Aunty (The lady is very sweet and sounds like my mum on the phone) is an exceptional cook and so are her chefs. Authentic cuisine. If ever I fancy a traditional lamb Biryani, with added green chillies and saag Aloo. This is where I will order from. Even the samosa's are perfect. Crispy on the outside and fried in fresh oil. (you can tell by the colour of the item, if the shortening is old) Everything is fresh and the food is tasty. Excellent food hygiene and Coviod19-Secure. That is very important as you can even trust the delivery people to be hygienic and adhere to safety measures. Where as you will get randoms picking up your food if you order via UberEats. I definitely would recommend this restaurant.

Delivered in a quick time. Food was still hot. The lamb Karahi was good but was not spicy but didnt expect it to be as it didnt mention it. Sister had the chicken biryani but that had no flavour. The mother had a lamb biryani and it was mediocre. Wasnt too sure on what to expect as a new customer. May have to come back and try dishes when we can dine in the restaurant.

The food here is very very good. Really tasty, prepared nicely and the service is great Prices are really good as well. Would definitely recommend.
