Probably the largest fish I have ever had - and it was the daily special (smoked haddock). To be honest the amount of chips made it a meal for two.

The fish and chips were a mixed bag - the fish was fresh with a wonderful crispy batter on the outside. The chips were very underwhelming (at least if you like crispy chips) and have no crunch whatsoever - but in fairness they don't hide this since the pictures on the menu quite clearly suggest that the chips are of the non-crispy variety.

Ordered what I thought was fish and chips... the photos and descriptions being ambiguous didn't help, but given the price 9.10 who would have guessed that was the price for a single battered fish and chips were extras?! What a rip off! Contacted the restaurant to say maybe clarify the description of what someone's ordering and the response was just plain rude... I went from not being too happy but potentially willing to try the place again, to being 100% sure I will never ever give this place my money again! There's plenty of other amazing places for fish and chips, I suggest anyone reading this review tries somewhere else!
