Great food (duck and black pork cheeks), wine selection and service. Really first class experience. The waiter knew his wines and recommended a red based on our preferences which turned out to be superb. We like a sweet dessert wine like a botrytus and they had a selection! The one he chose for us was perfect. We'll be back.

Came just for octopus, which was absolutely fantastic! Also loved salmon mousse. Top service, beautiful environment, will repeat.

It turns out that this restaurant has only been open for a few weeks after they remodeled the interior space. They did a nice job as it is a very nice environment to eat in. The service is top notch and friendly. All the food we ordered was amazing, starters, main course, and desert. The best dinner we have had so far in our three weeks in Portugal. We will most likely go back for another dinner before we leave Lagos. Highly recommended!

Really nice place, with great tasting food. The staff is friendly and helpful. Also the wine menu has a wide varieties of wines. I recommend this restaurant for it’s menu, atmosphere and as said really friendly staff.

We went there for dinner twice. ( we only spent two nights in Lagos) so if you go to Lagos you shouldn’t miss this place. Excellent food, excellent wine and excellent service!

Nice cozy small restaurant. Service was relaxed yet polite and competent. Environment was simple, in tones of wood, white and blue. Indirect soft milky light. Food is traditional with an exotic twist. Overall it was a nice experience and I do recommend it. The scallops appetizer was a combination of textures and flavours: the salty sea, the spicy choriço, the sweet earthy mashed sweet potato. The octopus came with garlic heavy greens. A nice contrast to the soft, yet not overdone octopus. The most traditional of the courses, it is their signature too (or most famous). The coconut gave the panacotta an intriguing exotic twist, although personally I don't like eating from inside a jar, an unnecessary obstacle. Overall very nice experience and would definitely return.

Food first class, service first class. Even after we waited 15 minutes for a table and admittedly weren’t happy they were able to make up for it with service that made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The squid and octopus were exceptional and the veal entrecôte very good. I wish we had a restaurant of this class where we live in London.
