Me and my dearest friend Sebastian have had a tea room experience from hell! . All we wanted was a little outing to Wendover after a splendid walk in the woods. We discovered lady grey tea room by mere coincidence, only to find out it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. After ordering the outrageously over priced food, after waiting what felt like an eternity, the scrambled eggs where finally presented before us. They were mediocre at best and didn’t even come with condiments. After feeling a little funky from the cuisine, Overall would not recommend to anyone and am thoroughly disappointed with the price, the food and the tardiness

Delightful tea room hidden down a small, picturesque cobbled walkway. The sandwiches and cakes were delicious. Loved the old-style plates and cups. Great atmosphere. Attentive, friendly staff. We visited twice during our stay in Wendover.

Tucked away hidden little gem in Wendover with good service fresh food and good prices, light fluffy home made cakes coffee and walnut, nice warm fruit scones with afternoon cream tea. My daughter had hot chocolate with all the extras, son had cappuccino and I had tea. Only tip I would give is to sit in the conservatory area as you can hear the staff in the kitchen's conversation which can be quite loud as it is open plan.
