Just had dinner at this beautiful restaurant along the beach in St Maxime. Loved that we could valet our car, the attendant was such a nice guy and he started our La Voile experience on such a happy note. The restaurant is comfy and cozy with lights strung up on high to create a romantic, elegant atmosphere. The wine selection was great and the food was absolutely delicious. Service was very friendly with smiles and attentive wait staff through out. We will definitely visit again before our time in St Maxime is done. Also we were lucky to hear the live music with a lovely lady singing wonderful tunes.. Beautiful restaurant, lovely atmosphere, gorgeous food.

I have been coming for 5 years for days on the beach with lunch and have so enjoyed my time except for this year. Unfortunately it is not what it used to be. Without Stefan and Frank everything would fall apart. There are lots of staff standing around not doing very much but only one barman who seemingly does every single drink - although if you need something between 3 and 6 the bar is unoccupied. It is such a shame as my partner and I loved afternoons drinking cocktails at the bar but it is not possible anymore. The food is still delicious but the service just isn't as attentive and after a certain hour all the staff disappear and you are left to fend for yourselves. This year's team are enthusiastic but are very clearly inexperienced. Previously the team were slick, efficient, and caring, however that high level of professionalism has sadly gone. Hopefully better days are to come for La Voile, but we possibly will not return.
We had a lovely dinner on Wednesday evening at La Voile. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with nice materials which creates a cosy and relaxed atmosphere. The ‘maître’ knows how to handle its guests and makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The suggestions were great (we were a group of 10) and the cocktails on point . I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back next time!
So many years we come to la voile and every time we are lucky with the quality of meals and services! Today it was terrible ... my husband has slight lung problems and must be carefull! So we asked friendly the waiters to use your mask! Since this moment we get no service more. Our table was not cleared and nobody ask us for coffee or dessert! Than we payed and go and nobody say good bye to us! And all this because we want to be careful about Corona! We are very disappointed Alexandra and Reinhard Olle
