People in charge there should be more polite. I took a bike ride (25 mile ride) that ended in the parking lot. ( 06/13/2020 @ 8:15 AM ) One guy came out and asks me if he could help me . . . I told him I was taking a break ( I am wearing a full cyclist kit, not like I just rode there for the heck of it ). He tells me that I am in private property, and they get eerie with people they don't recognize. I apologized letting him know that I wasn't aware I had entered private property. I was putting my gloves on, and he tells me that I they start calling the police or the Sheriff when they see people that shouldn't be there. I apologized again and told him that there was no need to call the police that it was an honest mistake on my part, and I was leaving. Why would he try to intimidate me with calling the police? I had already told him that I was just taking a break and I was leaving. I guess nowadays is just a common practice to call the police on people that are not white. . . . LOL

I have some very good memories of this camp. even though I went there for the wrong reasons, it was there that I learned discipline and responsibility as a 16 year old. My counselor was Mr. Cobas at the time. I still work out and remember the morning routine we used to do before going to the dining hall. I am now 40 and I appreciate every experience at this camp.
