This place was great!!!! Service by the waitress was perfect. The food was really delicious. The ambiance was nice and cozy. I totally recommend this restaurant to take people who are visiting Paris and want to try real French food, that’s exactly what we did. I only have to take off one star because the guy behind the counter was so obviously rude to us I can only imagine because we were a large group and laughed a lot during a great meal... we were of course careful not to be rude to others. It was just obvious that he was talking to the others guests about us and even offering them drinks on the house to excuse the “tourists” who were laughing and talking. But since we could understand and were not actually all tourists, it was just so obvious that he was talking about us. It’s a small restaurant. You seated a group of 9 in a tight little corner. We could hear everyone else too. Let people feel welcome to your restaurant instead of alienated. We left a great tip regardless because the food was great and the waitress too.

Tasty food and great courteous service is key in this small but vibrant restaurent in the heart of Paris. The frogs legs in market and garlic are excellent and the sirloin was well cooked with tasty potato gratin on the side. The flavors are good, varied and enjoyable. We loved this place!
I decided to do a dinner reservation before coming in, like 40 min before going, and good thing I did because we were being told there was no room. We waited a little bit before being seated. The food was good, we had their mussel appetizer which I recommend, and steak. They do provide an English menu.
The butcher's choice steak with a special mushroom sauce was delicious and very tasty. It also included scalloped potatoes and a salad with house dressing that was also very tasty. Topped off with a glass of rose wine and it made for a very delightful evening.
Had the veal pasta, fantastic. The staff was very friendly, and I loved how it was full of locals instead of tourists.
Both me and my wife got a severe food poisoning at the place. Wil never return
Great staff, very accommodating and friendly. We ordered the steak for two and received enough food for an army! They gave us a “to go” box and we had great food for the next day as well! Plus the entire meal was about half of what a good meal out in California would have cost us! Glad we tried it!
