Rapid, friendly service and lovely food at a reasonable price.
We called in just before 9pm. The restaurant closes at 10pm. Plenty of tables were available both inside and outside. We just wanted to have a glass of wine and choose a dessert, one of the set Coup de Glace, or as we would say an ice cream sundae. For some bizarre reason that was not possible. Really? You turned down 30 to 40 Euros worth of business for what? It would have been the simplest of orders? It would have taken no effort and yet, for reasons best known to those who manage this establishment that was pas possible! Get real people this is 2019 and such obstinacy belongs in another era! Very strange way to operate a business?
Myself and my wife dined here on the night of Sunday 22nd September. The service and food were both excellent and great value. The restaurant did get busy, however the staff managed the establishment very professionally and the tables are positioned so as not to impose on fellow diners. Great experience!
Hot inside. Food was ok. Busy place because nothing else in the area open after 9pm on a Friday.
Staff are very good and speak multiple languages. One of only 2 local restaurants, so very busy and staff seemed \edgy\ with little time for chit-chat. Food was good but the menu was limited and the wine list was worthy of a Harvester. I suspect this is an Italian equivalent.
Yum, this restaurant has incredible flavors & great menu selection for very agreeable price. Friendly service nice setting and easy to get to location in Vouvray!
