The restaurant is very well decorated, classic Italian style. Very friendly waiter, willing to explain the dishes and the wine, very knowledgeable. Pasta is nice, sauce with good flavouring with the swordfish dice. Gamberoni is well pan fried with full of garlic, butter, basil flavour, house wine is fine.

Excellent Italian food. We didn't think it was much to look at from the outside and our first impressions with the service was poor but that was a minor blip. The service overall was very good and very friendly. I recommend the Salmon pasta, it was delicious.
Definitely recommend La Scala, it's a lovely restaurant with fantastic and fresh food. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Next time we are in Dover we will definitely come back.
What a great find this restaurant was. Delicious meals and lovely atmosphere. The waiter was helpful and the food was well prepared from quality ingredients. Such a pleasant place to spend an evening - although I suspect it could get a bit of a squeeze on a busy night. Worth it though.
We had called prior to booking the… We had called prior to booking the table due to specific allergies had a 10 minute in depth conversation with regards to our situation then turned up for our table on time to have them look at myself i have well maintained dreads as a professional hairdresser for them to not remember our booking then to sit us begrudgingly at a table there was no one else in the restaurant once we had taken a good look at the menu decided it wasn't for us as they only had 2 vegetarian options both of which had mushrooms we had asked for drinks prior to our order being taken we had asked for specials of which there weren't any this evening on a Saturday we choose not to eat here as there was a clear indication and vibe that they did not appreciate alternative people to which the chef told us that they were not a pub and if we were not to order food we were to leave. Rude is beyond a understatement. I will not be paying money again to be insulted
