Pursuing Fontainebleau visit I discovered the Salamander restaurant. Good food experience , the chef work both the presentation and value the products very well. Service is very good too. I have tasted the best strawberry pie of my life. No pictures it was was looking so good that I jumped on it and forgot to take a picture. It is a bit more expensive that what I was expected but it is fine .

Nice atmosphere. Service with attention to detail. Good selection of wines with a range of prices. Everything we tried from the menu was excellent: interesting flavours and combinations, perfectly prepared. Slightly more expensive than we usually pay, but it was definitely worth it.
Quality fine dining, good and fast service. It looks much nicer from inside than from outside.
5 star service (attentive, nice / smiling) for 3 star food (correct but nothing special to come back for).
Very nice relaxed lunch at La Salamandre with steak, potatoes and a little red wine. Friendly staff and good food
Nice steak at reasonable prices but you won't remember it for the rest of your life.
