La Playa Mexican Restaurant & Cantina

This place was absolutely amazing!!! The waitstaff was polite, and helpful. The food was a 5/5. I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a little off the beaten path, but definitely worth the trip.

This is one of the fakest Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to. Their only saving grace is their chips and salsa and their fajitas which are delicious. Everything else tastes fake.

After we walked out I looked up the reviews and one in particular was the exactly what we experienced. . . My husband and I stood at hostess stand for several minutes without acknowledgement despite making eye contact with several staff. After finally being seated and several more minutes later, one of four servers on the floor dropped off chips and salsa without taking a drink order. Another 10 or so minutes passed without any kind of service whatsoever. At this point I finally agreed with my husband that we should leave. We left a 5 bill on the table as a courtesy that on second thought we probably shouldn't have. A totally piss poor experience. Never going back.

Over priced Mexican food. Waitress very attentative. One waiter with torn jeans in knee area. Awkward. Atmosphere was somber. Food was good.

Food and drinks are absolutely delicious... Try the Fried Avocado and the Blue Hawaiian
