We just had gotten married WOO HOO and decided to have a couple celebratory drinks. We started out looking for the VFW but I'm thinking La Placita Cafe has the foundation of the VFW. Navigator took us right there. We were going to eat oh, but we didn't. But I can tell you my tummy knows great food when it sees or smells it. We were very needy customers. The bartenders have to run to the kitchen for almost everything. It seems that this could be a little more efficient process for the bartender. I felt bad for the bartender. But she was on the spot with everything we needed. That is what we want: great food and awesome customer service. Check it out!

Food was avg.. Runny beans(cheap owner 'stretching out' quantity). Advice, Hire HOTslim(not thick or chunky waitresses)and you'll get more business. I tiped 3.68 for a total of 16 because I'm not a low life cheap tipper...even though my review is so-so.
Our first time in tonight, the staff was very welcoming and attentive, the atmosphere was fun. I got the 3 cheese enchiladas with 2 eggs on top, it was good but their chips and salsa were my favorite. Definitely coming back!
Ordered the chicken enchiladas. Decent place for a quick lunch. The food was good but didn't really stand out. The location is slightly difficult to find even though it's right on the main road (I didn't even know it was a restaurant and I work down the street). I would say it's an average Mexican restaurant.
Mexican food and the atmosphere here is quality. The staff was sociable and attentive. Prices were fair for the quality of the food. Food is similar to a place in San Francisco I loved.
