I was invited by friends lives in Paris. I heard this is the oldest restaurant in Paris. they serve french home-style food and It was good for me! Lunch menu was only 33.5 Euros with starter, dessert and coffee though!

Oldest restaurant in Paris! French classics like onion soup, escargot. The veal with sauce au poivre was of course incredible. I forgot I was supposed to take a picture so it’s a few bites in. Pretty good deal for the money for lunch
Friendly service, fresh and delicious French food. The place has a lot of history which they share as well, would definitely return! Started with escargot and baked goat cheese on toasts with salad, then got the steak and lamb stew for mains. Finished off with creme brûlée. So full and so good!
Fantastic meal and Laurent runs an excellent service. Started with a rose champagne to settle in this cozy little place. Entree was poached eggs on a bed of leeks in a red wine sauce. Delicious. Main was wild boar, slow cooked for about 3 hours in a red wine gravy. Perfect for this cold weather as it was very warming. Very good french wine. Polished myself off with a bit of cheese at the end. Job done!
The best restaurant I've ever been in Paris. All staffs are gentle and friendly! Well cooked dishes with reasonable price;D The reason why I chose Paris for my honeymoon is because of here!!!
Best experience ever. Strongly recommend the lamb. You can feel the soft and crispy texture at once. World best friendly servers make you feel like becoming an important person, whoever you are!
(From an American point of view) Fantastic formal French for those who are reluctant to enter an intimidating establishment. Very attentive service, meals made with effort and of a very high quality. The overall experience is well worth the very reasonable price. We had the veal white sauce stew and duck. Delicious!
My husband and I had the most wonderful experience at Le Petite Chaise. We were visiting from London! The chef Christophe and sous chef Lucie were INCREDIBLE! The salmon marinated in dill starter was divine - Vincent showed us an Instagram video of how it was made. The salmon and cod with mash was like heaven on a plate - so buttery and flavourful, you couldn't help but made yummy noises as you ate! My husband had the fillet of beef with gratin potatoes. I have never seen him so quiet! The beef and gratin melted in your mouth! Also, our waiters Vincent and Gouali made our experience even more amazing! They were extremely attentive, warm, charismatic and welcoming. They were knowledgeable about the menu and history of the restaurant. Vincent gave us a tour of the restaurant and explained the history, as well as handing us a print out. It has got to be one of the best restaurants we have EVER been to! We highly recommend it!
