I purchased 3 dozen tamales from the Grand Prairie location. I was looking forward to sharing them with my coworkers. They are sold in packs of 6. I opened one pack of chicken. The smell made my stomach turn. They smelled like sour masa and rotten meat. I immediately returned the tamales (less than 30 minutes) with all except one package intact. The manager refused to speak with me directly. Instead sent a young gentleman as a messenger. The young man explained that they could not refund all the tamales.... only the one that smelled bad. Yes, he admitted it smelled bad. How can I know what condition the others tamales are in without opening them? Why would I want any food from there after what I just experienced? Poor customer service. Old and disgusting tamales. I left all the rotten tamales in the store and notified my bank of my wish to decline the charge.
