Pastor Tyler is LEGIT! He has a real love for God. He doesn’t care for his own glory and is always willing to have a one-on-one conversation with his church members! He’s a very genuine and considerate guy. The worship team is always spot on! Worship time makes me cry, it gives me all the feels. The nursing room is an A by the way. Love the convenience and comfort in there. There’s always coffee (& treats, at times) set up on a stand by the sanctuary entrance. The entire premises are always clean. The restrooms get five stars ️ for cleanliness and decor. The sanctuary has a large amount of seating, and they are extremely comfy. Also, the lighting is always at an appropriate setting.

THE FIRST TIME I WENT TO CALVARY LA MIRADA IT WAS A SUNDAY SERVICE AND I KNEW THIS WAS GOING TO BE THE CHURCH FOR ME. THE WORSHIP N HEARING THE WORD WAS ON POINT AND THE WELCOMING FROM EVERYONE WAS AWESOME. I'VE BEEN ATTENDING HERE FOR ABOUT A MONTH N 1/2. AND I LOVE IT. THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE AMEN

As I have always been a lover of the Calvary churches, my family started going here a bit after moving to LA county in Whittier. I have attended this church since January 2020. This church is amazing. The church is smaller than most churches I've been to, giving it an amazing vibe! Not intimidating at all (which is huge when trying to join a new church) but in fact quite the opposite. Everyone here is so kind. The leadership noticed us at our first time attending and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, welcomed, and loved. If you are at all shy about joining a new church or fellowship with members I can tell you that is not a concern here at all! I have felt that way at some previous churches but not at all at Calvary Chapel La Mirada I highly recommend this place to anyone! Pastor Tyler is wise beyond his years but still very friendly and warm! To the believer welcome home and to the non believer you will surely be blessed by the loving honesty here
