Absolutely love the pasta here and the set menu for 2 is perfect if you like a taster of everything. We love how authentic the dishes are. Been coming back with different group of friends and they all loved it!
I simply love La mia mamma, it feels like home. Food is delicious and their portions will make you sleep like a baby. Staff is caring and attentive and they have a different Mamma every three months. I highly recommend it!
This has to be unfortunately one of the worst restaurants in London. Service took several hours. Pasta undercooked. The \6 hour slow cooked meat\ was so tough and full of grissel - it was essentially boiled meat and neopolitana sauce. The tiramisu was like off cream. Even the apreol spritz' were totally wrong - short glasses, with too much ice and an imbalance of the 3 ingredients. Such a shame - would highly recommend you to not go here until they sort themselves out. I rarely if ever post a review but this was just our whole table in shock coming from Mediterranean backgrounds and seeing food so poorly created and overpriced. If you know good food do not go here until its fixed. The wine was great but that wasn't made there... Small update: after posting this message I then received a very horrible and personal attack from our waiter who I won't name and went out of their way to find me. Never in my life have I received such abuse. I wish you all the best if you think that's how you should treat customers as it won't get you very far.
Great food and great ambiance! The mamma menu for 2 is great value with antipasti, aperol, pasta and desert. Pasta was tasty and portions were big. The ambiance was really nice with friendly staff and good music. Overall a fun time with authentic Italian food. Also the pistachio tiramisu was amazing!
