la Madeleine Petite Market & Bakery Park District

Had a lovely apricot twist and cappuccino here. My husband had a nice almond croissant and coffee. Loved the decor, the French lessons in the bathroom, and overall a nice experience and stop before we head to the art museum nearby. Will definitely stop by again if we are ever in the area.

Very good coffee first of all. The line gave us enough time to thoroughly read the menu. I love to ask what is recommended at a new restaurant for me to see if their staff eats there or are even interested in the food where they work and unfortunately the cashier that rang us up had no advice and didn't seem to care. I still ordered what I wanted to begin with which was a breakfast croissant and potatoes. My partner order an omelet I believe. The potatoes were really good but the rest was just ok. Overpriced for tourists. Very nice decor but super packed. If you like that New York diner feel with having no space to breathe then this is a good place for you. I would return for a coffee to go and maybe little else.

This new la Madeleine is a slightly different concept than the traditional restaurants for this restaurant group. It is a petite that is very in-tune with the very urban residential and tourist lifestyles in this area with a vast selection of to-go food and drink options while also being in-tune with the surrounding business district workers that will be frequent this restaurant. This la Madeleine Petite manages to do this while never forgetting its French inspired roots. From the menu options to the decor with the most gorgeous French style cafe chairs, you almost forget that you are in the middle of Downtown Dallas and not traveling on a Parisian getaway. And due to our long standing quarantine, la Madeleine Petite seems to happily provide you with a quick French escape. I’ll be back...

Nice spot for a quick nosh, always friendly and helpful. Eat breakfast here with mimosas often. Very pet friendly
