My wife and I, stopped in around 3:30 and were welcomed with warm greetings and seated immediately. A mask is a must have when entering, being seated, also during anytime your waiter/waitress is at your table (so be prepared) Highly recommend the shrimp/fish cerviche trio. The only disappointment is their black beans and their version of Mexican rice. The black beans were cooked well for texture although bland just like their watery bland rice. Although, it was presented beautifully in tiny little gray earth ware bowls. I also had the steak tacos that were delicious and tender also very flavorful with homemade tortillas. My wife and I would like to return for happy hour which begins at 4p and we would like to visit in the summer.

Very friend staff. Tons of outdoor and window seating which is great for COVID. We had enchiladas, with and without steak, asada steak tacos, Baja maji tacos, queso, churros, and tres leches banana cake. The drinks are very good. Def will come back to try some other menu items. Good location too. Right in the middle of the West Loop restaurant district.
Went here for my anniversary dinner with my boyfriend. It was okay. Staff was attentive, friendly, and courteous. Cocktails were just okay. Between the both of us we tried 4 different ones and none were a favorite, but they were decent. Tacos, eh. They need to double up on the tortillas because they were hard to hold and fell apart, but nicely packed. You HAVE to get three of the same, there’s no way to mix and match which is a little annoying since they are “upscale” and more expensive. We would have loved to try more. THE TRES LECHES! The tres leches was AMAZING and saved the day. It was our favorite and would def go back just for that. All in all it was an okay experience :)
Not bad, but not amazed. Will come back for dinner menu and alcohol if got a chance though. Environment is good.
La Josie is hands down one of my favorite restaurants in the city. Their ability to keep consistency in flavors, presentation, quality of service, and still somehow to exceed expectations each time you're there is magical. We’ve done take out, rooftop, indoor, window. From every angle this restaurant is an incredible experience. The Pollo rostizado (Adobo) and enchiladas verde (Pollo) with a tropical fruit cocktail are my demise. My husband is carnitas all day. If you have help, do the parrillada, because it's an experience to enjoy. ps. Don't forget the queso fundido and Guacu
