Touristy restaurant with a terrace overlooking the river that surrounds Brantôme. The restaurant definitely aims at tourists which isn’t necessarily bad. As long as you don’t expect Michelin star quality service and food, you’re fine. The food was nice enough though and quite tasty. The restaurant’s major selling points however is the location, with a lovely view of Brantôme. The menu is displayed on signs that you’re supposed to take a picture of. Staff isn’t overly friendly and clearly aims for speed.

Nice setting and atmosphere next to the river. Wouldn’t say it expensive but our table of 10 were all disappointed by our meals. The service was really friendly but the food just wasn’t great. We therefore wouldn’t return again. There are other places to go in brantome that are a lot better.

Disappointed. Nice area but the food is very poor. Ordered a goats cheese salad and it was cold and I had 3 leaves of lettuce.
Beautiful place, the Belgium beer was also good. The food was disgusting tho! Everything was raw and tasted awful.
Popped in here on a sunny Sunday afternoon at 5pm. Place was deserted and I can understand why. We came on a recommendation, but wouldn’t come again. Zero service. Cold cold waitress. Felt like we were putting them out by ordering food. Food, (pizza), was ok when it turned up. Only people in the place but we had to search for the waitress to order more food and drinks. Beautiful view of the river though :)
Nice terrace facing the river, service was nice, but the food average.
Nice location in this small romantic and historical town. Make sure to sit next to the river to see boats passing by.
