EAT WHERE THE LOCALS EAT! Very friendly owner who cooks all the food as well as serving and incredible food! You may need to know a bit a French as well as having google translate but all the dishes are amazing so you can't go wrong. Not to forget the GRANDE portions, especially for the price!

Amazing hole in the wall! Massive portions, would suggest ordering one dish between 2 people. One man show: owner cooks, cleans and takes care of his customers. Highly recommend for French comfort food.
Outstanding food and excellent service. It would help if the owner spoke English but the rest is excellent.
Budget dining option This little restaurant is hidden down an alley near the centre of town. With the exception of the steak (which we didn't order and probably should have), the menu is based on potatoes, cheese, eggs and salad. The meals are very large - our omelette was tasty and came with salad and a side of fried potato slices and the gratin (which came with a salad) was huge. Fabrice (the owner) is very nice and cooks everything himself. It's very tasty but not a fine dining experience.
I’m not going to lie, when my partner led me down a dark, creepy alleyway talking about a fantastic local restaurant, I thought she was gullible and we were going to be mugged. It turns out that I’m the fool, and the reviews were correct. The restaurant was indeed fantastic and indeed local. While the decor is best described as quirky, the eagerness of our host was so endearing that it really didn’t matter that a creepy doll stared at me throughout the meal. The menus were handwritten in French, and the owner (who does not speak English) performs an impressive one man operation; he will take your order, pour your wine, and cook your meal from scratch. As for the food itself, we ordered a Gratin to share. Well, bloomin heck that was delicious. If it were more socially acceptable to pick up the plate and lick it clean, I would have. Tarte tatin finished the meal and I was actually sad that I’d eaten all the food. I never wanted it to end. It’s probably best described as going to your friends house for dinner (if your friend is French and an amazing cook, and if so treasure that friend for the rest of your life). We left full and happy and little bit drunk. Superb.
Delicious! Be prepared to HUGE portions!
