My husband and I come here once every couple of months for a really pleasant date night. I live for the gnocchi and when we feel like splurging we go for the lamb shank dinner. Mm, it's all so delicious! They also have maybe the best calamari in the city, which y'all don't know me, but that means something from me . I wish I could say something about the dessert, but we literally have never had room for it! Ambience-wise, wow, so cozy and romantic. The lighting is just the right kind of dim and there's always something pleasant and upscale playing on the radio. ️ I definitely recommend eating here, taking a walk along Selby, and then maybe popping over to Grand for some ice cream. Perfect date!

Gorgeous patio! Fresh made pasta, great service. Favorite date night spot, so romantic.
I ordered the chicken alfredo, and the hat pasta with shrimp along with the bread basket and a cheesecake for desert. Chicken Alfredo was very bland, and the chicken they used for it might as well have been rubber dunked in a chicken stalk. The shrimp pasta was mediocre at best. The shrimp tasted like it had been stockpiled for too long. Much too strong of a fishy taste The “bread basket” was better off a bird food than an appetizer. Was very stale. Also could have used it as a crouton recipe if they would have waited another few hrs. The cheesecake..... I can’t believe they can even call that cheesecake. It’s no more than a half an inch thick and tastes like cardboard. I think this is my second review ever. The fact that I actually took my time to write this should tell you something about this restaurant.
Valentine's date bust! Risked our lives going into and very shady neighborhood. Was seated at a table literally right up against the bar inside the front door. There was a constant flow of cold air from front door. Take out dinners handed out right behind us. The service was very poor. I had the lasagna that was like soup and the cheese cake was about a 1/2 thick and like cardboard. Don't waste your time!!
Italian comfort food; reasonable prices; great wine selection.
