Turned up at this restaurant with no reservation. The hostess welcomed us in and once we had translated the menu, we ordered and had the pleasure of watching our food being cooked by a meticulous chef. I was absolutely enthralled! When the my entrecote arrived, it was cooked to perfection and tasted wonderful. Worth every Euro! If you like beef, salmon or pork, you have to pay this place a visit.
Fantastic, best meal in France, very reasonable. If you want to see the chef cut, prepare and cook your steak over an open fire.....this is the place to go. Great service too. Loved it....doesn't open on Wednesday.
Although the service was slow, the quality of the food more than made up for it, so so good, if you are in the area you owe it to yourself to go eat there.

Just sat down in this lovely restraint and I know me and my mum are going to really enjoy our meal. The steak is the best in carcassonne and mum has ordered lamb chops. Super service from the moment we walk in and such a great barbacue pit.
This was my favorite restaurant from our entire canal trip. The owners were very friendly and showed exactly how he was preparing our meal. BTW it was delicious.
Excellent beef and salmon cooked in an open fire oven. Friendly owners!
