Absolutely our family's favorite restaurant in Carthage! The food is always perfect and the portions are very generous. We haven't found another restaurant in the area with delicious authentic Mexican food. Que rico!

If your new to Carthage or just haven't aten here yet, you should. Restaurants here in the past have not done to well and usually go out of business but La Familia has stood it's ground for 4 years now and is always packed and full of friendly faces. I would say it's one of the highlights of Carthage and is located by the iconic White Horse motel sign. The restaurant has stunning food which is similar but even better than Casa Garcia. The lively music paired with the comfortable booths, friendly staff, and games that play on the t.vs give this food stop a very homely vibe. The bathrooms are clean and easy to locate. Every time I come here I get their delicious cheese enchiladas with the tasty fried rice and beans. Out of all the restaurants in Carthage I would rank it #2 and I visit here at least once a month.
