I can't remember how many times I've eaten at this place or ordered lunch takeout for the crew for one of my fashion photoshoot nearby. A great character for the neighborhood and great for people watching too. I painted a portrait of the restaurant for my series of 'Disappearing New York', which you can see on my website, KovalFineArt dot com.

Came here 7 years ago and fell in love with the corn. Came back on my visit to New York City this year and had again, did not disappoint. Great vibe and tasty food. Plenty of gluten free options. A must to visit if in NYC but make sure you book.

We ended up here after a long day of hiking (I clocked over 25,000 steps that day) and so we were starving by the time we arrived. The restaurant was packed but that was a sign that the food would be good (which it was) so we weren't deterred. T

La Esquina made our Saturday feel almost normal again. They have outdoor seating spaced a minimum of 6 ft apart and the staff is well-masked and helpful, and the service cheerful and prompt. The food and drinks were, as always, great. It was a perfect place to stop for a quick bite on a Saturday afternoon.
