We came here for the advertised Italian food, but we were surprised by a huge menu that included kebabs. The essence of the interior decoration looks nice but there are so many sorted items hanging around that it gives a confused feeling about it. Ravioli had a bad value for money, as you can see in the picture, only 5 pieces and a lot of sauce just hanging around. Taste was OK but I wouldn't go back for that. Mushroom risotto was also OK and the meatballs pasta was too spicy. Staff was nice but I expected more from the food.
Over the years I have had loads of different takeaways but this is the best I have ever had, however got cheesecake dessert was nice but not very big for 4.95 but main meal was fantastic.
We thoroughly enjoyed our food. The proprietor was very welcoming and friendly, the menu and specials board had plenty of choice. The cost was very reasonable and I discovered the full menu is available for home delivery too. The only thing I will say is the decor is basic and lacks finesse. Although some folk including myself will like that homely relaxed atmosphere. This is the only reason I have not given five stars because the food and service itself deserves five stars.
