Good and authentic Mexican restaurant. The owner was very pleasant and polite. If you speak Spanish, it can even be fun! Food was good and the atmosphere as well. Don't forget to make a reservation as the place is very small. Would return.

The owner picks and choses to whom she will be polite and be of service. She treated the table of young ladies next to us with distain and was sloppy and impolite with us for the duration of our meal, yet she offered her friends at the bar food and drink before her paying clients. The kitchen did not open until she arrived, we made a reservation for 20h and arrived on time, she arrived at 20h30. Her staff was kind but shy. The maragritas are weak and expensive, we should have remained with beer. The food is good but also expensive for the small portions. I expect if she likes you, you will enjoy the experience but if she doesnt, you will not go back.

Real Mexican food made by real Mexicans in Bordeaux. The owner is very nice and makes really good tacos and all the classic Mexican dishes. Also does catering.
As a person familiar with Mexican culture and cusine, as I grew up surrounded by my mother's cooking, I can say with certainty that La Copa Rota is what I believe to be the best authentic Mexican restaurant in Bordeaux and perhaps France. Definetly recommend but remember to make a reservation!
