A fantastic little cafe/deli close to Surrey Quays station. The couple who run it are friendly and attentive, and always give great service. They make great sandwiches, baked goods, and excellent coffee! Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.

A wonderful Italian deli/cafe in Surrey Quays. Run by a lovely couple who cater to your food requests. Food offered is fresh, tasty and well presented. And is really good value for money.

The team at La Cigale have been serving the local and passing diners for over 18 years. With a vast selection of freshly baked sandwiches, hot and cold food & coffee fresh juice smoothies the choice is endless. My personal favourite is the Italian chicken baguette Big boss style. Do try it out if not afraid of olives..

Best sandwiches I've tasted in London. Everything is cooked fresh and homemade - 10/10 on the food. As per the other comments, it is ran by the friendliest couple who always do everything to make you feel welcome. I moved to Surrey Quays from Ireland earlier this year and it is by far my favorite place for lunch!

The best sandwiches in London. Great place for halal food as well..made authentic italian way. Very lovely couple serving home made style food. Definitely recommend. The drinks are amazing as well
