At La Charité we stayed in an excellent self-contained apartment called La Petite Maison d'Artiste, on the hill behind the church. Sylvie is a welcoming host - intelligent, knowledgeable and speaking excellent English. She can recommend the best places to eat. She even had a full tool-kit to help us service our bikes (we were on a cycling holiday along the Loire). The gîte is well-located, within a two-minute walk of the ramparts with a spectacular view over the old town and across the valley of the Loire. Thoroughly recommended.

Accueil impeccable. Bonne connaissance du coin. Si vous avez l'occasion de prendre la visite de la charité \les 5 sens\ pour une visite en famille. L'idée est bonne et les enfants abordent la culture sous un aspect ludique. Merci à l'Office de tourisme pour cette très idée.

Accueil mitigé par la dame du comptoir en ce dimanche 2 juin après midi. Nous avons réservé des places pour une visite du prieuré. Heureusement la personne qui nous a commenté les lieux est parfaitement cultivée et documentée. Très aimable, répondant aux questions. J'espère que vous tomberez sur elle!

Pas agréable et pas serviable. Gîte des pèlerins géré par l’Office est qualifié de « pouilleux » par les pèlerins !
