Incredible location, staff is friendly and authentically Italian (one guy from Sardinia, another from Calabria..) just as the food is. Would not be able to recommend anything specific to order since all I ate and saw on other people's tables looked just nice and simply Italian. If i were to go back to Paris, after a good handful of days of eating and drinking local stuff, I most definitely have a cheeky visit to the Capannina.

BEST pizza by far that I’ve ever had. My hubby and I were (and still are) raving about it. The pasta was also so good but if you don’t get the pizza here, you crazy. :)

I cannot give high enough praise for this place. Our waitress was so polite and patience with our terrible french. The pasta was so good, but I heardly remember it because the pizza was the best I have ever had. I could not believe the taste every bite was a true delight. I cannot wait until the next time I'm in Paris to go back. We were in Paris for a week and La Capannia was the best restaurant experience we had. The best pizza ever!!

It's a very charming Italian restaurant, nestled at the foot of Sainte Geneviève Cathedral, a stone throw away from the Pantheon, in a picturesque little street of the Latin.Quarter. a beautiful, intimate terrace, and lots of flowery creepers make.ot an ideal place to stop on a hot summer day. We stopped there around 16h00, famished after a day of strolling around, and attracted by an enticing specials board, and the \service continu\ sign. Well, we quickly found out that continu did not encompass 16h00, that the cook was on a break, and that only pizza could be served. We nevertheless decided to stay. We had two absolutely delicious pizzas, the crust was thin, with a perfect mix of chewiness and crispness , each ingredient fresh, tasty and obviously home made, washed down by glasses of delicious italian wines. The tiramisu was to die for, and the coffee very italianserci e was quick,.friendly and knowledgeable. Altogether a very good experience, and we are looking forward to tasting the rest of the menu on our next visit.

The staff is really friendly and both pizza and pasta are good. However, it would be nice to have more vegetarian options :)

We didn’t expect too Much and we’re surprised. The Pizza was the best we ate for years - even comparing to Italy and Verona. Crust was perfect. Spaghetti was delicious with home made pasta.

The food was good, but the service is what merited this perfect rating. Our waiter, Francesco (Cicco), reminded us that eating out can be more than just convenient.
