Excellent food and an excellent atmosphere. Here you feel like you have been invited to a friends house for dinner. A friend who can cook very very well. My steak was perfectly cooked and the potato bake that came with it was deliciously seasoned and cooked. The Michael Jackson playing is a nice touch. Highly recommend and it's open late! Nice.

There's nothing I can say to fault my experience ar La Cantine. My husband and I had the fillet of beef with potato dauphinois. The meat was soft with a good flavour by itself. It didn't need the bernaise sauce it was served with but the bernaise was delicious so I slathered it on. I suspect the bernaise may be made in house. The potatoes were a nice accompaniment. The restaurant is quite charming in the decor and the waitress was welcoming and very helpful even though we do not speak French. A big plus here was the late opening hours. We arrived around 9:45pm and the kitchen was still open - so good for hungry travellers. Highly recommend.
Nice cozy place, with a funny asortment of decoration. Very good food and drinks, albeit a waiting time a bit long if you are in a hurry. All in all a very nice experience.

We had diner with two kids at 19:00h. Food came fast and hot. They have lovely desserts. Do try their homemade rum, lots of exotic flavours. Recommended!
