One of the top 10 places where Cocido madrileño( Madrid typical stew) is served. They do not accept credit cards. Only cash. You can't walk in. Reservation is required

No credit card payment available, I was aware of that, because your customer service from your waiters is very rude, you even charge for the bread that every restaurant on Madrid put for free when you have even a beer, I had a beer for me and the waiter took the bread away, my friend gave me his bread which by the way is hard and not so good compared to other restaurants on Madrid, you might be one of the oldest places to have traditional Madrid food, you rely on that, but your service is not right for the price and the service you give, I will not ever recommend to any one visiting Madrid to go to your place!

Very nice local restaurant and sweet service with menu in many different languages including Chinese! I tried The special dishes recommended in the menu and they are really nice. They provided free lemon sorbet also which is super cool after I getting really full after a large amount of food看了马蜂窝APP推荐来的,真的蛮赞的,口味应该很地道,菜量也很大!

All the travelers go here for Cocindo Madrileno. It is a traditional Madrid dish and this is one of the few restaurants who still make it in an authentic manner. I don’t know whether that’s true but that’s what I got to know when I researched about Madrid food on YouTube before going there. Whatever, this dish is worth a try if you are in Madrid. It’s pretty heavy with lots of meat and also comes with a salad and soup. Staff is ok with English but very nice and welcoming. You will see a lot of tourists around. Important note : they close at 10:30 PM unlike most other Madrid restaurants *Very important : it is a cash only restaurant (but there are ATMs at walking distance)
