Cheap and relatively cheerful. Good quality fish & chips with crispy batter, malt vinegar with generous portions. Don't expect restaurant trimmings however; you eat off the tray with little wooden knives and forks. As good fish and chips are hard to find in France, La Baule is very lucky to have this place.
