This looks rather unprepossessing from the outside. A white stucco building by a bus Stop. Just do not pass it by if you like tuna. In fact if you like tuna make a pilgrimage here to enjoy locally caught cooked or uncooked. We preferred the cooked. Melt in the mouth. Tasty and great service.

La barca is worth visiting just for this Venta. The home made cheesecake is divine . The food menu is wide. Prices are reasonable. Venta pinto is next to one of the long haul bus stops for the Algeciras - tarifa - Chiclana - Cádiz bus routes so if you have a long wait it's a godsend.
Good place near Vejer. Not cheap, but decent quality. Although, the steak could be better.
The best Serrano Iberico tostada I've ever had.
For a truly traditional southern Spain experience, come to venta pinto and try the lomo en manteca (pork sandwich in special home made sauce).
