One of the best places in Nice!
Tiny little place with sophisticated decor. Short chalkboard menu of specials plus a few more not listed. Bright service from our smiling server. Really good bread and sad to say, but even though this is the country that made bread famous, it's not always a given. We both chose rabbit served with polenta. Absolutely delicious and a perfect serving size. There were several other options that were also original and very tempting. We thought the wine ( by the glass ) a bit pricey, but nevermind, the quality of the food deserved a decent quaff. The restaurant filled up quickly...tables reserved...all regulars. Go early or book.
I don't really know what I ate, but it was amazing. Just like a bowl of hot honeyed cheese with a side of potatoes, bread, and meats? Ridiculously tasty, with a warm romantic atmosphere and friendly staff.
The restaurant is very nice! Its a very calm and cozy place! The service was excellent, the people very polite and helpful! And finally...The food delicious!!! For sure a good idea for a dinner date!
