Compared to many other planes/boats/submarines I have visited, the Peder Skram in Copenhagen was definetly the most open. With open I mean, the ability to walk through most of the ship or atleast see into the rooms, touch everything, sit in the seats, lay in the beds and even handle the different types of ammunition that was used on the ship. When I visited, the admission was free but the boat was still undergoing renovation. I didn't have time to check out the submarine or second navy boat but will go next time I visit copenhagen.

Walking through this ship is an amazing experience. Be aware that it is only open during a couple of weeks in the summer and some other selected occasions. You can still come and get close to the ship in the other parts of the year though. There are a couple of other interesting navy ships and a submarine close by.

Great part of Copenhagen which is not crowded at all. Quiet place with nice view. For those who love naval history, this is the place.

Exciting cold war destroyer/frigate with lots to see. Most rooms of the ship are accessible and give a good impression of what life at sea under the gloomy threat of war with Russia was like. Do buy a ticket that gets you access to the submarine as well. Guided tours by knowledgeable veterans.

A very detailed museum warship where nearly every area is accessible (you can even climb inside the turret). Also includes a small model ship exhibition. Be ready to climb nearly vertical staircases though!

Very well preserved and with information written in English as well. What I liked the most was the possibility to go wherever you want and stay at a particular cabin as long as you want. There was also a very good display of miniature war ship's. The high point of this was the command center, being able to have the Captain's view looking from the bridge was great!
