Great school, small classes and personal interaction. It is great that the classes focus heavily on speaking. I really see the improvement in my German grammar and confidence in having conversations.

The teachers are what make this school so great. It may be slightly more expensive than something like the VHS, but the quality is so much better. I recommend this place often. Have done all but one level form A1.1 \u003e B2.1 at Insula

As a foreigner from the United States who moved to Cologne without knowing a word of German, I've been enrolled in this course from A1.1 (the very beginning) and am now about to start B1.1 and I don't regret a thing!! Insula provided me a great environment to learn and make new friends, had excellent course material, and classes with Miriam and Christine were always super fun and energetic. If you're on the fence of choosing this language school or another one, choose this one! I guarantee you're not going to regret it! :)
