Needed 2 x new tyres after a pothole incident. Andi and his team sorted me quickly and efficiently, and for a decent price. Also sorted the tracking on my car, which has improved the way it steers in an instant.

Got rear tires fitted here, good quality service, not to mention quick. Andi the assistant manager answered my questions and put up with my sub par banter. Would recommend this branch highly.
I took my Mini to have one rear tyre fitted in preparation for my MoT. I booked and paid for a the tyre and a fitting slot online a few days prior. I arrived and the mechanics started fitting the tyre. After 10 or so minutes the manager came in and advised that the other rear tyre would incur a MoT advisory and that they could fit it there and then. I said that given the miles my car was doing (less than 2,000 per year now I’m working from home due to the pandemic) I was happy to leave the other tyre. The manager then went on to say that the tracking should be done, however that wouldn’t be possible as the track rod ends were “rotten” and needed replaced. I have several issues with this unprofessional statement - 1. My car is front wheel drive therefore the track rod ends are at the front. They were fitting a rear tyre therefore why were they at the front? 2. My car has a belly pan. You cannot see the track rod ends unless you take it off and they did not remove it. 3. The use of the word rotten is alarming especially when it turns out there is nothing wrong with the track rod ends. I took my car for it’s MoT yesterday to the garage I bought it from and it passed it’s MoT with no advisories first time. I am disgusted with Kwik Fit for trying to upsell unnecessary repairs to my car. They perceived a me as a female on her own to be gullible enough to accept what they said and spend money. I have always found Kwik Fit a tricky company to deal with, however this is the last time I will use Kwik Fit for anything. I how Kwik Fit read this and consider their unscrupulous ways of doing business.
Absolutely disgusting service. They lied about being able to source parts, lied about having the skills to complete basic changes and then damaged my car when they did complete the work. Would strongly advise against taking your car here. The other Kwik Fit in Dunfermline (Hospital Hill) is far better, take your car there instead.
No problems as always. Good price and good service. Maybe give the steering wheel a wipe though
