Good quick service, tyres changed and a free cuppa
I do hate being negative, as my other reviews will show, but there was nothing positive about my experience with KwikFit in Falmouth and I almost wish I could give zero stars. I took my car in for an MOT, and was told it had failed completely and would cost over 1000 to fix all of the 'problems' with it. Having checked the car's MOT history, it passed the previous test with no advisories, so my partner and I thought this was quite suspicious. I went to another garage for a second opinion, and my car passed the MOT with only a few advisories, all of which I am getting fixed for less than a quarter of the price quoted by Kwik Fit. When I showed the other mechanic the list of apparent 'faults' with my car, they laughed and said it was in fact rubbish, guessing that as I am a young woman who had to get her dad to pick the car up (due to having to go to work, so not even a valid reason to make judgments), they decided I would be easy prey. I'm sorry to leave a negative review after all these positive ones, but I've finally found a place I would not recommend.
My Kwik Fit fitter Adam done a wonderful job, fast friendly service and even lifted my whole van up to check everything underneath, very happy and next time around will be returning for the remarkable service and will be recommending them to everyone, well-done
Having had wheels balanced and aligned on the Friday before we left for holiday, Sod’s law we got a nail through our tyre on the first day away. Drove at a snail’s pace to Kwik Fit in Falmouth thinking our surfing lesson along the coast was scuppered. Craig the Boss Man couldn’t have been more helpful. Fitted a spare for free and ordered a new tyre which we picked up the following day. And we managed to make it to the surfing in time too! Would highly recommend.
