Pretty good food though if you want to eat a lot it'll cost you a lot. An English menu is available and the servers speak enough English to communicate OK. Only issue is that my boyfriend is halal and the fish wasn't kept separate from the meat when it was served and there was only one bowl of dipping sauce. The plum wine is lovely but will give you a headache afterwards! Amazing buildings and uther restaurants in the area so you can shop around for what you want to eat.

A good place to go to try kushikatsu—accommodating to Japanese, English, Korean, and Chinese people and speakers. We weren't particularly hungry so we shared a set of twelve skewers. Fried food will always taste good to a certain extent, but the lack of refinery shows. We both loved the cabbage thanks to its clean taste. The food itself was good, and I'd recommend tourists try a standard set so they can try some of everything.

We stopped here for dinner while visiting Shinsekai. It was pretty busy for a late Sunday night and we ordered Combo B (Shinsekai). The food was pretty good... Especially the chicken, chicken meatball, quail's egg and cheese. There was a dipping sauce that seemed to be used communally among various patrons who had come and gone, which kinda freaked me out, so I didn't try the dipping sauce. But the fried food was pretty good.

After a walk through the Zoo, come to this place for a traditional Osaka cuisine, Kushikatsu. Wonder how they come out with this but it's yummy in deed. It is one of the best cheap eat you can get from Osaka with around 2-3k yen you can surely be well feed. If you don't know what to order, do try their set:) This is one good 4 star restaurant:)

Kushi Katsu is said to be the must-try in Osaka! I would say it’s interesting and quite different from tempura. We ordered a whole set of skewers and got to try an assorted number of breaded ingredient. Most of them are delicious but I particular like the lotus root which has a crunch to it. Fried cheese and mochi are also quite special. They gave us a sample bowl of beef tendon stew too. The sauce is vinegarish and goes well with fried food. They serve raw cabbage for customer to take additional sauce if they did not dip enough the first time. The cabbage is so fresh tasting that I ate it because I like it.
