Kuma is a must visit, whether you’re a tourist or a true Parisian! We missed the grand opening of this little Japanese Street Food inspired restaurant by two days, so we made sure it was one of the first stops on my next visit to Paris. Kuma did not disappoint! So much so that we ate there three more times during my short stay. The Karaage Don was by far my favorite dish! The chicken is perfectly marinated and is always moist. The Salmon Don is also delicious and fresh with a yummy glaze. The prices are reasonable and the portions are big. I kept wanting to order both dishes but was always full after one! Their pickled egg adds some really authentic flavor to the dishes and makes a great add on. Everything is made fresh and on the spot. We can’t wait to go back during our next visit to Paris!

WOW, KARAAGE! This is a really cool hidden gem if you’re looking for something different in the Marais area: Japanese street food with a twist. Quick & delicious rice bowls. Big portions too. We ended up coming back a few times to try out different dishes :) Check it out, you won’t be disappointed!
Amazing and quality food. A small trip to Japan from Paris. Lovely staff. Great time for the family.
I’m a chicken katsu curry expert. I always get it. This is honestly the best I have had since my previous favourite in Perth, Western Australia in 2013. Has good chunks of vege and just great.
Good food but but unfortunately they don't have restroom (which actually is illegal in France...)
I've lived in Japan and I can honestly say that it was the best Karaage Don I've ever had. Staff is so nice, Really recommend
Reasonable price for Marais. Juicy karaage. Waiting time can be a bit of pain, though.
Amazing katsu curry and karaage bowls. Good for take out; you can comfortably eat onsite if there are 1-2 people in your party (small tables and high stools).
