I visited this place on a Saturday night. It was not busy at all, we were seated very quickly. Ambiance was very laid back and chill. Service was friendly and fast. The salmon sashimi was very fresh and the portion size was much bigger than most places. The chopped scallop was also very well served but I was not impressed with the taste, it was a little plain. The Salmon Teriyaki was delicious and a very good portion size for one person. They do not offer happy hour at any time or day but their prices are very reasonable to where you almost don't even mind not having happy hour specials. It's a good place to try if you want something close by not crowded and at a reasonable price at any time of the day.

Food wise, this place is delicious and one of the best sushi restaurant. I came here for years, but do to covid I have been doing take out and it taste the same. However, I do say the change in customer service did change over the year the the change in staff and the demand on tipping even when I didn’t like the service that day. Overall I still visit once a month.
Thoroughly surprised at the quality of food and portions here. The food was delightful and tasty. For the price you can't beat it at all. Yaki-Soba & Nabeyaki-Udon were good imo. No hassle and casual place!

Driving near Westheimer and the Beltway looking for some Japanese food and stumbled on this gem of a restaurant. From the hot tea and miso soup to a wide variety of sushi rolls, everything we had was great. Seemed like a local spot where the staff recognized several of the guests. Prices were very reasonable. Six piece Tuna or Salmon rolls ( as seen in the photo ) were 2.50 each. The whole platter in the photo was 11.50. Bowl of miso soup was 1.50.
