5 years ago I came in looking for a traditional Ukrainian meal, and boy did I find it. I had such a great time that when I returned earlier this week I sought it out. I was so happy to know they were still open. The staff were very courteous and helpful. Immediately upon entering, they showed me where I could leave my coat. I thought that was a nice touch for a sit-down restaurant. It was great that the menu was also in English to help me. I ordered the sausage with some old-fashioned fries. It was really tasty and went well with the sauce that was on the side. The juice was natural, and was very refreshing. As for the vodka, it was strong, and worked well as a digestive. Upon having a wonderful meal, my only downside was that they didn’t accept card. As it was cash only, I had to rely on a friend who I was with to cover the tab. I would strongly recommend this place for none looking for an over-the-top Ukrainian place to vibe at. Just remember to bring cash. Though the prices are very reasonable, so don’t be alarmed if you don’t have too much cash on hand.

Liked it very much, been there couple times. They have menu in many language, also food great and must say that very cheap considering that this place is located very central in Kiev

Excellent cakes. Very good prices. . If you have a sweet tooth you must visit. If you are trying to diet this is not for you. There are too many choices to tempt you. Good service thank you
The food was tasty and affordable, and the server who helped us was so friendly. We got assorted kalbasa, green borscht, and buckwheat with salo -- for two people it was more than enough food. It really was an experience... Even though I was worried about wearing the flower headband at first, it was really fun to take pictures with and I didn't want to take it off when we left) Overall a really nice time.
A nice Ukrainian restaurant, the food is usually average. They have a bit touristic approach by putting 10% service on the bill hoping most of the tourists will think they actually in New York but not in Kiev and pay it. Its a bit funny for me as a local, since i consider that disrespectful as tip here in Kiev is absolutely optional and depends on the quality of the service and the mood of the customer. Other than that, not bad at all.
Definitely worth going if you are interested in the ukrainian cuisine. Food is very good. Prices are mediocre compared to other places in Kiev but still cheap compared to Germany. Service was fast and kind.
It's a nice restaurant with good food. They have their menu translated into 36 languages.
