Kadifekale can easily be accessed from Basmane metro/train station via walk. It's just 1.2 KM from Basmane, Çankaya and Smyrna Agora (The Ancient Church of Smyrna) located on a hill. Place is historical and in leisure time it's worth visiting. It provides best panoramic view of whole izmir City. #IMPORTANT# *Remember if you are planning to walk to reach the top, it's just 1.2 Km as i said earlier but can be back-breaking for many (if can't walk take a taxi, it is easily available). * No toilets are available. * Entry is free. * Cafes are available but not top-notch. * Few tapestry & hand-made stuffs are available at an affordable and negotiable prices ( Vendors). * There's Shop available opposite to entrance to provide eatables & beverages. * Swings & a small park is available for kids. * There's enough parking space even for big buses.
